For a child who is just starting, the best-suited Mouratoglou Academy camp is the Player Camp Junior: from age 6, Monday to Saturday mornings, 1.5 hours of tennis a day (2 in summer) plus physical training, in a level group. Afternoons stay free for family time in Biot, near Nice and Cannes; from age 3, the Baby Tennis Camp offers a first discovery.
Yes. The Mouratoglou Academy’s junior camps are open to all levels, and the Player Camp Junior is often a young player’s first camp. From age 6, your child progresses every morning with peers of their level, with no pressure on results.
When you book, you give the year they started (or that they are just starting), their hours of tennis per week and matches per year. Coaches form groups by age and level, then confirm them after the first-day assessment: a beginner plays with beginners. Each group has up to 4 players per court.
Mornings to learn, afternoons with the family
Over six mornings, Monday to Saturday, each session follows a specific technical theme: forehand, backhand, baseline play, approach shots or net play. Physical training complements the on-court work to help the child move better, position themselves better and sustain a rally.

End of training, free afternoon
Thanks to the Mouratoglou methodology, coaches start from the child’s level, spot their strengths and give them concrete reference points. At the end of the week, their Game Report sums up what they have learned and their priorities. At noon, the afternoon is theirs: the beach, the hotel pool or an outing on the Côte d’Azur with you.

And for the little ones? Baby tennis

It runs during school holidays and in summer: see our baby tennis page.
