From training to friendship

A young player explains why she came back to train at the Academy.

A tennis camp in Biot, between Nice and Cannes

Founded in 1996, the Mouratoglou Academy sits in Biot (Sophia Antipolis), 15 km from Nice airport and close to Cannes. Everything is on one campus: 33 tennis courts on clay and hard surfaces (8 of them covered), a sports medical centre and a 4-star hotel with spa.

Camp guests train where the academy’s year-round players train, with the same Mouratoglou methodology: technique, physical training, tactics and mindset, adapted to each player’s level.

Which tennis camp should you choose?

Three things decide it: age, the training volume (mornings or full days) and the length (week, weekend or two weeks). All levels are welcome.

How a camp week works

Adult camps run Monday to Friday, junior camps Monday to Saturday. When you book, three questions place your level (year you started, hours of tennis per week, matches per year); groups are confirmed after the first-day assessment.

  • Mornings (Player formats): 1.5 hours of tennis a day (2 in summer) and physical training, afternoons free.
  • Full days (Performance formats): 3 hours of tennis a day (4 in summer), fitness, lunch, then match situations, tactics or mindset.
  • Game Report: at the end of the camp, your coaches’ review and your priorities to keep improving.

When to go on a tennis camp

Week camps run all year round; adult weekends from September to mid-June. The Tournament Camp is summer only, baby tennis runs in summer and school holidays. Half-term, Easter and the summer holidays are the busiest periods: some weeks already show “Last places” or “Full”.

With or without accommodation

Accommodation is never compulsory. To sleep two minutes from the courts, the campus offers rooms at the Mouratoglou Hotel & Resort (4-star, spa) and residence studios or apartments, from age 18 or with an adult. Juniors travelling alone can choose full board (boarding), included in the Tournament Camp.
