The Mouratoglou Academy’s junior competition camp is the Tournament Camp: two weeks in summer for 9 to 17 year-olds, combining training, physical preparation, tactics, mindset and a UTR tournament of at least 3 matches. Boarding and full board are included, on the Biot campus near Nice and Cannes.
Training well is one thing; knowing what holds up when the score counts is another. The Tournament Camp is built around that idea. Over two weeks, your child prepares their game through complete training: tennis, physical preparation, tactics and mindset, following the Mouratoglou methodology.
The UTR tournament then puts that work to the test: facing different opponents and the pressure of the scoreboard, your child discovers the strengths they can truly rely on and the areas they still need to strengthen. Competition becomes a real tool for progress.

Does my child need a ranking?
No. The Tournament Camp is open to all levels from 9 to 17. A national or UTR ranking, if any, is taken into account at booking along with the start year, hours of tennis a week and matches a year. Groups of up to 4 players per court are confirmed after the first-day assessment.
A UTR (Universal Tennis Rating) tournament has the advantage of matching each player against opponents of a similar level, whatever their country or federation: a good first step into competition, and a useful stage for a player who is already ranked.
