For kids and teens who want to begin or improve, sessions focus on fundamentals, movement, technique and game understanding. Players are grouped by age and level for steady progress in a motivating setting.

Each session blends on-court instruction, physical training and interactive drills that keep players engaged while building strong foundations.

The Junior Development Program is grounded in the Mouratoglou Methodology, created by Patrick Mouratoglou.

It builds four pillars, adapted to every level: technical fundamentals, tactical understanding, physical development and mental confidence.

Ages, schedule, languages and what a session includes.

Is this the right program for kids who want to start playing?

Yes. The Junior Development Program is ideal for beginners aged 6 to 16. Whether it is your child’s first racquet or they already have some experience, structured group sessions build technical skills, coordination and a love for the sport.

At what age can children join?

From about 6 years old, depending on maturity and motor coordination. Players are grouped by age and skill level for a positive and productive learning environment.

Is it a recreational or a competitive program?

It is a development program, focused on learning, confidence and strong fundamentals. It suits recreational players as well as those preparing to move into competitive tennis later on.

How often do sessions take place?

Two sessions a week, on Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday, from 4:30 to 7:00 PM. Each session includes tennis instruction, physical training and age-appropriate drills.

Are lessons in Spanish or English?

Coaching is mainly in Spanish, but several coaches are bilingual and international or English-speaking families are fully supported.

Does the program include physical training?

Yes. Every session includes physical activities that develop agility, coordination, balance and general fitness, adapted to the child’s age and stage of development.

Where are the sessions held?

At the Centro Panamericano de Tenis, the venue that hosted the WTA Finals, the Guadalajara Open and the UTS Tour, with professional courts, recovery areas and a safe environment for juniors.

Can parents watch the sessions?

Yes. Parents are welcome to watch from designated areas, especially during their child’s first sessions, in a warm and family-friendly atmosphere.
