Children can start from 4 years old with Mini Tennis. The program is designed for ages 4 to 8, with coaching adapted to each child’s coordination and attention span.
Are there lessons for very young beginners?
Yes. Mini Tennis uses smaller courts, softer balls and playful teaching to help children explore tennis in a safe and enjoyable environment.
What makes this program different from other beginner classes?
It applies the Mouratoglou Methodology: motor skill development, emotional confidence and early technical learning, in a fun, age-appropriate structure. Sessions are led by certified coaches experienced in early childhood sports education.
How often do classes take place?
Twice a week, on Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday, with time slots between 3:00 and 6:00 PM. Each one-hour session focuses on movement, coordination and basic strokes.
Where are the classes held?
At the Centro Panamericano de Tenis, one of Latin America’s most iconic tennis venues, convenient for families in Zapopan, Providencia and across western Guadalajara.
Are classes taught in English or Spanish?
Coaching is mainly in Spanish, but several coaches are bilingual and support English-speaking families during classes and onboarding.
Does the program include physical activity?
Yes. Each session includes age-appropriate physical development: balance, agility, reaction time and movement games that prepare children for sport in general, not just tennis.
