Titles, year by year.
Marta Kostyuk turned professional in 2018 and reached the third round of the Australian Open at 15, where she was soundly beaten by her compatriot Elina Svitolina, then in the top 5. After a period of inconsistent results, she climbed the rankings and 2024 was her breakthrough year: a first WTA 1000 semi-final at Indian Wells, a quarter-final at the Australian Open, lost in three sets to Coco Gauff, and a ranking of world No. 16 in June. She has beaten players such as Gauff, Pegula, Zheng, Mertens, Svitolina and Vondroušová. She won her first final on the tour in Austin in March 2023, beating Varvara Gracheva 6-3, 7-5, and in 2024 reached two WTA 500 finals, in San Diego against Katie Boulter and in Stuttgart against Elena Rybakina, losing both. At Roland-Garros she reached the second week in 2021 before losing to Iga Świątek.
