Profile & career

From beach tennis in Natal to the pro tour.

Victoria Barros embodies the new generation of South American tennis. Born in Natal, Brazil, she started out playing beach tennis before taking up tennis at the age of 5. By 7, she had realised she had a talent for the game and wanted to become a professional.

She has a natural feel for the game and an exceptional touch, which allow her to vary her play and find solutions in any situation. A true fighter, she can sustain long rallies and is learning to turn her chances into proactive play, while improving every day in how she uses her body and handles physical demands. Once she combines endurance, aggression and instinct, she will show her full potential.
